Every Foodie knows the prestige that an acclaimed Michelin Star carries. The Michelin Guide is the highest honor a fine dining establishment can achieve... that is if the establishment is located in one of the few cities that Michelin inspects. What about amazing restaurants that don't fall into the fine dining category? Local bakeries striving for the perfect loaf of bread? Hole in the wall dives serving the best wings? Often, the only way to find reviews on these establishments is searching through Google and Yelp reviews for diners who had ONE good or ONE bad experience.
You may be asking, what's a foodie? Especially an anonymous one!

What makes a foodie?
Anyone who loves food can technically be a 'foodie' but to me, this word holds much more meaning. Someone who cares about the nuance of flavors, textures and quality of ingredients. Someone who can appreciate all food from fine dining to dive bars. Someone who understands that atmosphere and service are just as important as good food. To me, a true foodie understands that food is a universal love language that can bring people from all walks of life together.
Why anonymous? Well, so many people on social media are paid to say the things they do! Or influenced by those around them. I am choosing to remain anonymous so that my reviews can be perfectly honest with no pressure to say the exact right thing.
